Happening Now
- Training for a half-marathon! Have been feeling really good about my runs and I've crushed my speed goals. Original plan was to run the half sub 2:30, but now I think I'll be able to push my goal forward quite substantially
- Still between jobs! Have been feeling lots of gratitude for the people in my life sending me potential opportunities. Heart full of love & appreciation!! Please keep doing it!! xo
- In desperate need of new recipes to kick into my rotation... might be reaching out to some of you to steal some of the delicious things you've made me before (julia if you're reading this i'm thinking about your french onion soup)
- Discovered the beauty of the No Frills supermarket and it's ruined all other grocery shopping for me elsewhere
- Trying to buy an affordable gi so I can get back into jiu jitsu
- Writing lots so I can actually submit it places. thinking right now about a concept to submit for 'score,' which will be this year's are.na annual compilation.
- Realizing it is quite difficult to write about myself in formal trying-to-get-a-job type ways and then immediately turning around to write stories or blogs! Still trying to balance that anyway. The average amount of words coming out of my head on a daily basis is maybe the highest its ever been.

Finally got Getting Killed on vinyl. There's a whole blog post coming on this soon, so that's all I'm going to say.
Also I heard about Deseo, Carne y Voluntad by Candelabro a few weeks ago and it's fire. Very very solid album, sound is part British Windmill scene, part 2000s Canadian indie rock, and part something entirely new and Chilean. Fabulous.
Looking at:
Adored Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie. Go see it. One of the best laughs I've ever had in a theatre. I heart CanCon. Need to spend more time tackling my Canadian watchlist. Feeling strangely patriotic for once.
Reading:
Currently reading Detransition, Baby by Torrey Peters and Zeros + Ones by Sadie Plant. Thinking a lot about community building and relationships and cyberfeminism lately and so I suppose these two reads make sense.
Writing:
Lots!!!!!!!!! Maybe you'll see it soon. The blog is not adequate proof of the sheer level of writing.
