General Happenings
I said to L recently "wow I really wish I didn't always feel like I'm in a transitional period" and she said "you are in your early twenties, what else are you supposed to be doing?" and honestly it rocked my brain. She's so right. So many things are changing quickly and I can't tell you where home is or what I'm doing but rest assured I am active. Everyday I wake up and repeat to myself "objects in motion stay in motion." I keep moving.
I've been really appreciating hearing from people lately who took big risks, who moved suddenly, who changed their paths, who felt compelled to make a big change and had the courage to do so as young people. In moments of rest I am listening to a lot of Pharaoh Sanders and trying to learn how to play the guitar. I am also painting watercolour landscapes on 12" x 16" canvases. The nice thing about being in this earthly body and brain is that I get to enjoy so much.
